We are a skilled nursing facility serving the St. Louis and surrounding areas. Since 1932, our passionate approach to excellence has been accompanied by a deep and tender care for our residents.
The outlook of our mission is ultimately one of accompanying our residents in their journey to God. We believe that God speaks to us in all stages of our lives, and being here is no exception!
We offer a peaceful, home-like environment that speaks to the dignity of each person. Spacious, light-filled rooms quickly become “home” to our residents as they are encouraged to furnish their new living quarters
with their own furniture and decorations. We establish stability for residents through continuity of staff and the ability for them to remain in the same room throughout their stay at Mother of Good Counsel Home.

The mission of Mother of Good Counsel Home is to foster a beautiful Home where Christ’s mercy and love motivate every aspect of life including clinical care, community, and spiritual life, so that our residents may live fully and prepare peacefully for their final journey to the Father.

Our Sisters
The Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George can be seen living and breathing in the Home, as they live onsite and serve daily in numerous apostolates here. Typically, there are 10-12 Sisters around the Home!

Beginning in 1929, the Home has been a refuge and consolation for countless residents and families in need of clinical care while also being a place of hope and joy.
