We invite volunteers to become a part of our nurturing environment, whether for a special one-time occasion or for an ongoing effort. We value the contribution of volunteers on our team.
Our volunteers come from diverse backgrounds and have many ways to contribute to our residents’ well-being and happiness. We appreciate the fresh ideas and enthusiasm that so many bring into our Home. We invite anyone who is considering
volunteering for service at our Home to complete the attached:

For the safety of our residents and staff, any volunteer who plans to serve as a regular volunteer must agree to submit to a background check
Volunteer Opportunities
Activities Aides. Assists the Activities Supervisor in providing social, educational and/or recreational activities and supervision of activities for our residents.
Such activities may include bingo, card making, playing
card or board games, and bringing residents to and from activities.
Clerical Support. Assists staff in basic, general office duties.
Friendly Visitors. Designed for one-on-one visits with residents, giving personalized attention and showing genuine interest; volunteers enhance resident socialization through individual concern and support.
Gardening/Landscape Assistants. Assists the Sisters and staff with maintenance and beautification of various areas of the facility and grounds. This work can be done by adults, families, youths and groups.
Readers. Read correspondence aloud when a resident is prevented from or unable to read.
Special Events Volunteers. Assist in the preparation of and participation in special events throughout the calendar year.
We are always open to ideas and suggestions.
